2 Seas Motorsport will return to a two-car entry as youth and experience combine for the British GT season-closing #DoningtonDecider. Karting graduate Aaron Walker will make his series debut alongside 2019 champion, Graham Davidson, at the wheel of the Silver-Am Mercedes-AMG GT3 entry. The pair join season regulars Lewis Williamson and James Cottingham, who are still in the fight for the championship heading to the season showdown.

Aaron has been working with the team throughout the 2022 season as he continues his progression from a strong career in karting. He made his transition to sportscar competition with 2 Seas Motorsport, entering the BRSCC Junior Fiesta Championship earlier this year, in parallel to a bespoke GT3 testing programme. He has used this track time to build up his knowledge and experience of the Mercedes-AMG GT3, and is looking forward to making his competitive debut in the category next weekend.

“The season has been a real eye-opener, and a real learning curve. Moving up to sportscars, alongside my karting, has been a whole new discipline and working with the 2 Seas Motorsport crew has really helped me adjust to the different styles of driving. I have tested the GT3 car a few times, but I am really excited to join the British GT grid and compete at Donington Park. I’ve been watching the championship all year, and the racing has been fantastic, so I am really looking forward to working with the team and being a part of it next weekend alongside Graham.”

Graham is no stranger to GT3 competition or the Intelligent Money British GT Championship. He returns to the series for his fourth race weekend of the year, having already campaigned at Oulton Park, Snetterton and Spa. He also has happy memories from racing at Donington Park, claiming pole and one of his two victories during his championship season at the Leicestershire circuit. The Scot claimed his first GT3 championship in 2017 with the GT Cup title, and has raced a variety of different machinery over the past few seasons, but this race weekend will mark his debut outing in the Mercedes-AMG GT3.

“It is great to have Aaron and Graham confirmed for the last round of the championship and, as always seems to be the case with British GT, it is shaping up to be a grandstand finish to the season. We have been working with Aaron all season, running in the Junior Fiesta Championship and testing across Europe, and he has really impressed us with his pace and approach to driving. At only 16-years-old, he has shown he is mature beyond his years, and I am really pleased we are able to give him this opportunity to make his GT3 debut, in at the deep-end for the Donington Decider! However, with Graham alongside him – a bona fide champion and former winner at Donington – I am confident the pair can deliver a strong result. Graham has proven himself in different cars at different circuits, and brings a lot of experience, so it will be interesting to see what we can achieve in the Mercedes-AMG.”
