Reigning Teams’ champions, 2 Seas Motorsport, return to the British GT grid for 2024 with confirmation of two Pro-Am entries. Former champion, Ian Loggie, returns for a second season with the team, running alongside the driver with the most British GT championship victories, Phil Keen, in the first entry. The team is also pleased to welcome back Kevin Tse, partnering with Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver, Maximilian Götz.

Last time out, the team’s two entries scored four race victories and four further podiums between them, going on to take a first British GT championship title, with a round to spare. The race results also kept both crews in the title hunt until the closing stages of the season, with the Am drivers eventually finishing in second and fourth. This season sees another two extremely strong pairings, combining two of the most consistent and competitive Am drivers, alongside two of the fastest and most highly decorated drivers in the sport.

2024 will mark Ian Loggie’s 10th season in the championship, and the 2022 champion is looking to return to the top step, building on the strong results from the last campaign. He will be joined by one of British GT’s most prolific names. Phil Keen is back with 2 Seas Motorsport after running in selected rounds alongside Ian during the last campaign. The 40-year-old makes a welcome return to the British GT grid, now for a full title challenge, having scored a record 19 GT3 race wins.

“It’s going to be a big push in 2024. We showed good speed and had some great results last season, but I am more determined than ever to get back on top of the podium, and have that number 1 back! I’m really pleased to be back again with 2 Seas, who were the choice of the field last time out, and they have proven themselves to be the ones to catch. I’m also really looking forward to partnering with Phil for the full season. His racing CV speaks for itself, nowhere more so than in British GT. He has always been a class act, and it is great to be sharing a car with him. Hoping we can add some more silverware to the trophy cabinet together, and get Phil that record number of wins back.”

Running under the team entry Contempo Concept by 2 Seas Motorsport, Kevin Tse rejoins the team, having contested two successful standalone British GT races in 2022. His last runout saw him claim a podium finish at Brands Hatch, and he is looking to build on the result, now sharing with Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver, Maximilian Götz, who makes his British GT debut. Maximilian is back with the team after a standout debut at the end of last year, starring in the Pro line-up for the Gulf 12 Hours, remaining in the hunt for outright victory throughout. The resulting podium finish helped secure Intercontinental GT Challenge honours for Mercedes-AMG for a second consecutive season.

“After a full season in GT3 silver-Am, I am extremely excited to be graduating to the Pro-Am class in British GT in 2024. 2 Seas has proven itself ultra-successful over the years, and the Icing on the cake for me is to be driving with Maximilian. The 2021 DTM champion needs no introduction, and I will be looking forward to improving my driving skills with him to guide me throughout the year. It is all shaping up to be an amazing season!”

“It is great to be back with the 2 Seas crew for 2024, and to be taking on a new challenge of British GT. We had a great run at the end of last year at the Gulf 12 Hours, and they proved to be true challengers on the biggest stage. The British GT championship has become one of the most competitive domestic championships in recent years, and has seen some amazing racing, so I am really looking forward to being a part of it, joining up with Kevin, and seeing what we can achieve together.”

Maximilian Götz, Contempo Concept by 2 Seas Motorsport and Mercedes-AMG Performance Driver, #18 Mercedes-AMG GT3

“Back for another crack at the British GT championship, and we have one clear aim for the season. It was a huge result last year to secure the Teams’ title, so we are looking to retain that, but we know it won’t be easy. The championship gets stronger each year, and it is great to see such a competitive grid again for 2024. We have familiar faces back with us for the new season, albeit in new pairings, and we are really looking forward to seeing what they can do. Ian had a fantastic season last year with us, and it’s great to have such an experienced and successful name in Phil back with us for the full season. Kevin has proven himself as one of the most competitive Ams on the grid, and he will be a real threat alongside Maximilian, who we all know is hugely quick at the wheel of a Mercedes-AMG. It is going to be a great season, and looking forward to getting things underway in a few weeks.”
