GT3 rookie Todd Kingsford joins for British GT finale

2 Seas Motorsport will welcome GT3 rookie Todd Kingsford to the British GT ‘Battle of Brands’ season finale, as he makes his competitive GT3 debut. The 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Pro-Am series leader will join Aaron Walker in the #15 Mercedes-AMG GT3, alongside an unchanged line-up from Donington Park in the sister car of Kevin Tse and Chris Lulham.

The finale marks just the second time Todd has driven a GT3 car, following an initial test earlier this year during the championship’s official test, and it comes in only his second year of racing. Despite that limited experience in a GT3 car, the 2026 season has been extremely successful. He has contested 16 races across four different series, taking 14 wins and a further podium. He is currently unbeaten with 10 wins from 10 starts in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Pro-Am championship.

The results mark Todd out as exciting talent, and he joins Aaron Walker in the #15 entry, following the recent Silver Am class victory last time out, at Donington Park. Brands Hatch will also be a new experience in its own right, with the Kent circuit set to be Todd’s first encounter at the track in any category – adding a further layer to what is already a steep introduction to GT3 machinery as one of the most demanding rounds of the year.

This new pairing joins an unchanged line-up in the #18 Contempo Concept entry, with Kevin Tse and Chris Lulham returning for their second outing. The pairing will be looking to build on the strong showing at Donington Park, which scored them a P2 finish and fastest lap as Chris made his championship debut.

It will be my first GT3 race, and only my second time in a GT3 car after testing earlier in the year with Jules Gounon coaching me. It’s been a strong year, with 14 wins from 16 starts, but it is also only my second year racing, so there is a lot that’s new to try – new car, new circuit, new series, new competition. Brands is a fast flowing circuit, and will definitely be challenging, but Aaron and the team look strong. I'll keep working hard on the sim over the next few days as preparations continue, and I’m really looking forward to it.”‍
